Casa Joya is a registered family run casa rural and restaurant set in 6.5 hectares of countryside with almond, olive and fig trees. It has been developed to provide high standard b&b and self catering apartments in the beautiful setting of Southern Spain. The guesthouse comprises three apartments for b&b or self catering; a restaurant and swimming pool complete the provision in beautiful Andalucia.
The restaurant, "Simply Eating", is the domain of the owner, a former London Head Chef, who ensures that the luncheons and dinners are always gastronomic delights.
Casa Joya offers a range of styles of accommodation from a one bedroomed apartment for two, to a self contained, self catering apartment for four. All the apartments benefit from an independent entrance, central heating and private bathroom facilities. Guests may choose b&b in preference to full self catering, or opt to eat all their meals in the restaurant should they so wish.
Casa Joya is a luxurious and welcoming rural base from which to enjoy the splendor of Andalucia or an even wider area of Southern Spain. Whether guests opt for b&b or a self catering apartment this casa rural is an ideal base for discovering historic places in Andalucia, for bird watching, painting or photography, as well as more active pursuits such as walking or cycling. Our rural situation to the south of Velez Rubio is less than an hour's drive from the sandy beaches of San Juan de Terreros and the wonderful coastline of southern Andalucia, stretching as far as Mojacar.
To the north of Casa Joya, the Los Velez area of Andalucia contains attractive towns such as Velez Rubio and Velez Blanco as well as the renown Sierra Maria which is regarded as one of the largest and finest National Parks not just in the southern region but in the whole of Spain. Covering an area of over 55,500 acres of northern Andalucia, its stunning landscape contains rocky mountains, pine forests and holm oak plantations that typify the wilder rural regions of Southern Spain.
