Medical emergencies can and do occur, and it is nice to know that there are people who care and will be there in your time of need. Our doctors and registered veterinary technicians are trained in Emergency Medicine, Surgery and Critical Care. Over the past year alone, they have helped hundreds of animals in distress, representing over twelve different species!

If the emergency is during regular office hours, please proceed immediately to our hospital. If at all possible, call ahead or while you are on the road so that we can better serve you and your distressed pet upon arrival.

After regular office hours, an answering service fields emergency calls, and alerts the Animal Care Unlimited Staff Veterinarian who is on-call for medical emergencies. You will then speak with the doctor directly to answer questions about your pets’ condition, be advised of emergency fees, and coordinate your arrival at the hospital. New clients are welcome to use our emergency services until midnight. After-midnight emergency service is currently available only to existing clients of Animal Care Unlimited.

In the event that the on-call doctor is assisting a prior emergency and is not available, or in the event that your emergency is so immediate that you are unable to wait for a doctor call back, please proceed to MedVet, or your nearest veterinary emergency care facility for assistance. www.medvet-cves.com
